The Better Air Quality Conference (BAQ), the leading event on air quality in Asia, took place this year from 19 to 21 November in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event brought together key stakeholders to explore government policies and measures in several key sectors, such as transport, energy, industry and climate change. Policy-makers, practitioners and industry leaders meet at the BAQ to network, innovate, learn, share experiences and to reflect on Next Generation Solutions for Clean Air and Sustainable Transport.

For the first time, the BAQ was taking place together with the Regional Environmentally Sustainable Transport Forum (EST) in Asia. The integrated conference was organised by UNCRD and Clean Air Asia, in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and World Bank.
